Kairos is a Greek word for “time” that refers to opportune time, the right time, the appropriate moment. It is different from chronological time. It literally means “a divine appointment.”  This is particularly appropriate for our youth because we feel God is drawing them to Him, calling them and equipping them at this specific time, for His divine purposes.  This name fits well with the mission statement of Kairos Youth Ministires, which is that

“Kairos Youth Ministries” exists to encourage youth to COME into relationship with God, CELEBRATE Him, CONNECT with others, COMMIT to growth, and find their CALLING.
